Two highly adjacent play dates in the plaza hotel, and then in the big central park playground.
First, lunch in the crowded plaza food court, completely unchoreographed with 7 kids and 6 adults, split across a table and a half. Somehow it worked and unplanned and unlikely pairings among the boys were created by proximity, chance, personality, and a bit of roblox.
The next play date started across the street at the 5th ave entrance to Central Park.
"Meet at the big rock near the entrance"
We were on the park side and they were on the zoo side, and the kids met at the summit. Two kids with scooter helmets made them easily spottable.
The journey and detours along the way to the playground were like the rock formations scattered through the park.
